• The 8 infantrists can shoot out of the tank without leaving it while being protected by armour totally.
• The BMP-1 has relatively heavy weapons and is equipped with night vision.
• It can swim and is ABC-save.
• The tank has been used by many allies of the Warsaw Pact.
