- Panzerstahl 88025 Panzer III Ausf. M camouflage 6. Pz.Div. Russia 1943
- For the german tabletop game STRATAK BATTLES PANZERSCHLACHT
- Panzer III were the main medium battle tanks of the german forces during the first half of world war II.
- The weapon range altered from 3,7 cm over 5 cm to 7,5 cm guns.
- There were several versions from A to D before the war and E to N during the war.
- Mainly the armor as well as the anti tank guns were enhanced when the versions changed.
- The tank became obsolete, when new sovjet and western allied tanks appeared in the mid-war period, e.g. the russian T-34.
- There were several alternate tank modifications and the Sturmgeschuetz III was a more successful version of the tank.
Panzer III tanks are displayed in many tank museums, for example (without guaranty, as museum tanks are sometimes lent to other museums, restored or maintained):
- Panzermuseum, Munster, Germany
- Tank Museum, Bovington, South England
At the war and peace revival show in south England (Folkestone racecourse, rail station Westenhanger) you can usually see Panzer III replicas in action.
