• The "Panther" was the german answer to the russian T-34 which was a bad surprise for the german army.
• The Panther is recognized as the best german tank and the best medium tank of world war II.
• It had a powerful gun with a high cadence and a relatively strong front armour.
• Anyway the interlaced runnig gear caused problems with frozen mud in the russian winter.
• A Panther in running conditions can be found in the "Wehrtechnische Studiensammlung" in Koblenz, Germany (if it is still there).
